Pilbara Group has techniques to enable ABC and A-76 teams to work together to conduct outsourcing more efficiently and with better data. The results of adopting these techniques will be better, faster assessments of whether outsourcing is justified at all, and accurate tracking of the resultant financial and service impacts of the outsourcing decision.

Within the Improved Financial Performance area, Pilbara Group’s ABC and ABM solutions and the related business intelligence tools systematically address identification, assessment and realization of opportunities to improve performance. This is one of he key management uses of ABC and ABM systems, and the company has particular expertise in developing these aspects of a business management strategy.

Under Budget and Performance Integration, the Administration plans to formally integrate performance reviews with budget decisions in order to begin to produce performance-based budgets starting with the 2003 Budget submission.
